What to check when the second Atari joystick seems to disappear and the opening job will not progress.
Step by step
Inspect the right shelf
Look for either the second joystick or a cardboard parts box on the default shelf to the right of the workbench.
Check beside the table
If the default shelf is occupied, inspect the right side of the table. Stored repair objects can move to the next available position.
Remember what was disassembled
Once at least one screw has been removed, the game can store that joystick as a box rather than showing the complete device model.
Restart only if the object is absent
If no joystick or box exists in either location, save if possible and restart. The original discussion confirms a restart restored the missing item for affected players.
